66 Fuzz
Based on a project from an electronics magazine from 1966, the 66 Fuzz was born when obsolete germanium semiconductors were substituted for more modern silicon components. The result is a saturated, gated fuzz that is nothing short of chaotic.
As the 66 Fuzz is a vintage style fuzz, it interacts poorly if a buffer or other active circuit is placed between the guitar and it. For the best results plug into the 66 Fuzz directly from your guitar.
As with all Voyager Audio devices, there is no battery snap. This is because almost all the time an effects pedal is used, it is used in conjunction with other electronics that use power from mains so power will be available. It is also because we believe that it is not an effective use of resources to power guitar effects from batteries.
